There are three basic ways to search for registered companies in China; using a company's USCC, using Chinese name (in Chinese characters), or searching in English.
Once logged in, you can find the search bar under the "Search" tab.
The best and most accurate way to search for a Chinese company is by using the company's Unified Social Credit Code (USCC). Simply enter the USCC into the search bar located on the top of the page to initiate the search.
A USCC is unique for each company, similar to an US EIN number, or a business registration number.
If you do not know the USCC number, the next best way to find the company you're looking for is by entering the official Chinese company name using Chinese characters. Please note, searching by Chinese characters may display multiple company results, especially large companies with many locations, such as Starbucks and international hotel chains.
If you’re still having difficulty finding a company, you can try entering the translated company name in English. Please note that even the best English translation may not be entirely accurate due to variations of phonetic spelling a Chinese company will use (Xi vs Shi). Please note this is the least encouraged method for search as there can be many different variations to the spelling of the company in question.
